At Stone Lizard Lodge, we strive to provide affordable comfort for all of our guests, which include overnight business trips to
week-long adventures. With our cozy rooms and complimentary breakfast made fresh every morning, and local expertise to point you in the right direction for your excursions, we will accommodate every guest!

Our History

When we had an opportunity to buy Blanding's first hotel, established in 1947, we knew we could renovate its seventeen rooms into a beautiful, and charming lodge. We were inspired by the unique layout of the hotel and by the Ancient Ancestral Puebloan dwellings that San Juan County is known for. The result is a collection of uniquely themed rooms and suites with a distinctly Southwestern look and feel.
